Field Trip Teaching Assistant
Share your love for the outdoors and inspire young people to care for the planet! We are seeking talented individuals to help us get kids into nature!
Assist in leading kids on garden tours and plantings as part of Ms. Smarty-Plants™ Field trips at The Water Conservation Garden and lend a hand with classroom related responsibilities. As an intern you will work closely with the Education Department to learn teaching techniques from award-winning Education Director, Pam Meisner aka Ms. Smarty-Plants™.
(Volunteer position. Applicants should be College level and higher)

Tuesday “Nature Hour” 3-4pm
Give back to your community by spending one hour a week with The Garden’s education team. Help collect data in the Habitat Garden and prepare materials for children’s field trips and conservation assemblies.
