Schedule Ms. Smarty-Plants to visit your entire school or individual classroom! Students will engage their critical thinking skills through this fun, interactive program for saving the planet. California State Standards, E-STEM, and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
FULL SCHOOL & GRADE LEVEL ASSEMBLY (45 MINUTES)
Lower Grade Assembly (K-2nd/3rd)
“Ms. Smarty-Plants Grows Earth Heroes” takes students on a unique conservation adventure! Our assembly is fact-filled and engages students in water conservation, relationships in ecosystem, parts of the plant and seed dispersal in nature.
Upper Grade Assembly (3rd/4th-6th)
“Ms. Smarty-Plants Cools the Climate” explores the water cycle, climate change, uncovers the “global weirding” phenomena, and inspires students to conserve San Diego’s most valuable resource: WATER!

1st/2nd grade-Ecosystems and Seed Dispersal
3rd/4th grade-Plants Adaptations in Southern California
5th/6th grade-Water Capture and Conservation
Programs are available Tuesday-Friday. Classroom visits are 30 minutes. please allow for 30 minutes in-between classroom visits for Ms. Smarty-Plants to set up in different classrooms.
