Field Trips

Be an Earth Hero!

Visit Ms. Smarty-Plants at The beautiful Water Conservation Garden for an outdoor learning adventure that includes a garden tour, music, magic and fun! Students will observe plant adaptations and changes in the climate and learn ways to conserve San Diego’s water resources.  Each student will receive a packet of native seeds, a gemstone and plant their own succulent to take home at the end of the field trip. Program activities are in line with California State Standards, E-STEM and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

School field trips begin at 9:30am and are approximately 2 hours in length. Lunch picnic area is available.  Minimum number of students per field trip is 20.  Maximum number of students per field trip is 60. Visit FAQ’s link below for more Field Trip information.
