Homeschool Field Trip
Journey through The Water Conservation Garden with a Garden Educator and discover water-saving plants, animal habitats and adaptations that help ecosystems survive. Students will enjoy hands-on seasonal activities, all while being immersed in nature learning. Each student will plant their own succulent to take home and win cool prizes like gemstones and native seed packets!
- K-8th grade appropriate
- Homeschool lessons begin at 9:00am and are 1 hour in length
- 15 students or $150 minimum per class
Explore The Garden! With Soaring Minds On Mondays (9:30am-11:30am)
The Water Conservation Garden becomes your arena for learning, with over five acres of outdoor exhibits to explore. Join Education Guides for tortoise encounters, habitat analysis, and garden science that will transform you into an Earth Hero for conservation! Sign Language Superstars on Mondays (12:00pm-1:00pm)
One the same day, right after Explore The Garden! Stay for Sign Language Superstars! Learn to communicate through an incredible language: American Sign Language (ASL)! Have some fun taking a walk on the wild side with Pam Meisner (Ms. Smarty-Plants™) to learn basic signs for greetings, everyday objects, conversation, and more.
