Nature Tour Guide and Teaching Assistant 

Share your love for the outdoors and inspire young people to care for the planet! We are seeking talented individuals to help us get kids into nature!

Assist in teaching students about water conservation, changes in climate and sustainablity as a part of the award winning Ms. Smarty-Plants™ Program at The Water Conservation Garden. Lend a hand with classroom related responsibilities  while working directly with teachers and students. As an intern you will work closely with the Education Department to learn teaching techniques, classroom management, NGSS curriculum, and sustanability practices.

(Volunteer position. Applicants should be College level and higher)

Nature Guide Appilcation


Tuesday “Nature Hour” 3-4pm

Give back to your community by spending one hour a week with The Garden’s education team. Help collect data in the Habitat Garden and prepare materials for children’s field trips and conservation assemblies.

(Volunteer positions available for high school students.)
